2 Reasons Why You Should Wait Until You Are Done Having Children To Get Breast Implants

Breast implants can be a wonderful for thing for many women who would like to increase the size of their bust. They allow you to instantly get the breast size that you have always wanted, and they leave you with two round breasts that you are proud of. However, it is often wise to wait until after you are done having children to get your breast implants. This article will discuss two excellent reasons why you should wait until you are done having children to get your breast implants.

Bust Changes During Pregnancy

When you initially become pregnant, and throughout the course of your pregnancy, your boobs will increase in size. If you already have implants in place, this will make your breasts even bigger than you ever planned for them to be. This increase bust size can be uncomfortable, and can also leave your breast with stretch marks due to the extreme size change. Also, because your breasts are generally tender during pregnancy, the increased size may cause you more pain as well.

Nursing

Getting breast implants before you are done having children can also be difficult if you plan on nursing. You may run into some issues while you are in the process of nursing, as well as when you are done nursing.

During

When you first begin to nurse, you may notice some problems with your milk supply. Some implants, if not put in properly, may cause your milk ducts to become blocked. This means that you may have a hard time getting enough milk to nurse your baby, or you may get no milk to come through at all. On top of this, you may be more likely to get mastitis even if you are able to nurse, because your ducts are more likely to get clogged.

After

Even if you are able to nurse with your breast implants in place, you will likely have some severe stretching on and around your breasts. They will be stretched due to the enlargement of your breasts when you milk comes in. They will also become stretched even more due to the constant pulling on your nipples while your child is nursing. This stretching will likely require you to get new implants put in anyways, so it is often times best to simply wait until you are completely done having your children and nursing them before you get your breast implants.
